Tatsuya Okawa got interested in scientific training when he was attending Meiji University in Japan. He also attended a instructor training school where he studied the basis of exercise physiology. His dream of becoming a Personal Trainer was a natural outcome from his school years.
After graduating Meiji University he started developing his career training in private enterprises. Meanwhile, he visited the United States for several times and studied fitness training and methods of training instructions.
Tats established STRONG-S in 1995. The purpose of this establishment was to prevalence his own philosophy of sports training to the public.
The clients of Tats include Major League pitcher Hideo Nomo, outfielder Norihiro Nakamura, and many others. In addition, clients of STRONG-S vary from world class professional athletes to general people. |
